Welcome to Pixel Drift, a fast-paced 8-bit style arcade racing game developed entirely in Python. Test your reflexes in an endless race against city traffic. The further you go, the faster it gets—do you have what it takes to become a "Road Legend"?

🕹️ Controls

• Arrow Keys (Left/Right) or A/D Keys: Change lanes to dodge obstacles.
• ENTER: Start the game or play again from the Leaderboard.
• ESC: Return to the main menu or exit.

🌟 Key Features

• Customization: Choose from 4 different pixel-art cars and enter your name to climb the Top 10 Leaderboard.
• Adaptive Difficulty: Select your level (Easy, Medium, Hard) and watch the road speed up progressively as you score points.
• Drift Physics: Experience dynamic car tilting as you switch lanes at high speeds.
• Retro Aesthetics: Chiptune soundtrack and sampled sound effects for a full retro experience.

🛠️ Technical Notes

This game is a university project built using the Pygame library. Thanks to Pygbag technology, the Python code runs directly in your browser via WebAssembly (WASM).

• Audio: Optimized in .ogg format for seamless web compatibility.
• Persistence: Features a local JSON-based saving system for high scores.
